My favorite part is figuring out who the FAKE NEWS is. Only thing I was positive about tonight was

Just not a very interesting slate. I decided to get off Dame to try for a weird Blazers stack that could hit. It worked except for picking the worst non-Dame stack.
I just make one lineup now and enter that in everything and it’s been working way better.
Pacers are kind of a dumpster fire on both ends.

I haven’t followed the details as to why, but Durant wasn’t cleared to start today vs the raptors. He got the okay to play during the 1st half and then the league pulled him out again in the middle of the 3rd Q and announced he’s out for tomorrow’s game as well.

Who would you trade LaMelo for right now? I think the list for me is basically Giannis, Luka, Jokic and Davis if he signs long term.
I don’t think i’d do Trae, Ja or Zion for him.
But he still can’t shoot? He’ll probably be fun, and maybe even the best player from that draft class but his ceiling is slightly more scoring but worse defense than current Ben Simmons.
Wouldn’t trade Embiid, Tatum, Brown, Bam for him. Wouldn’t trade any star on a team trying to title this season (clippers, lakers, Brooklyn stars).
Simmons/Beal, Charlotte still has to add picks imo.
he’s 21-40 from 3p in his last 6 games. it’s not a simmons situation.
That’s brought him up to 33% on the season. Obviously Simmons is even worse, but he’s elite at defense and I think you have to believe Lamelo is Nash like at passing to make up that difference.
Or to believe that he’s 19 and shown a tendency to work and improve on his shooting which is why Simmons went from like untouchable in any trade talk to being unwilling to let Tyrese Maxey go being the reason he’s not in Houston.

I’m still not 100% sure that was real. I dont think Woj or anyone actually reported that, but I could be remembering wrong.
I just dont think Lamelo gets to averaging like 20/10/8 or whatever. He might! I just am not sure if happens without very high usage.
For context, Simmons has attempted 30 threes in his ENTIRE CAREER, lol.
So 10 less than Ball has attempted in 6 games. It’s a completely different thing, Simmons is afraid to even try to learn to shoot the 3.
