Looks like Steph gonna be out for a while

The Michael Jordan is a weird pose that I am sure Jordan never held.

MEM/MIL score

Magic beat Boston for their sixth win in a row. They started the year 5-20 and are now 11-20, behind the rookie of the year candidate Paolo, and the unanimous mvp choice Bol Bol.

back to back wins in boston in 3 days too

Honestly the Magic didn’t look too bad. Fultz looked solid, Banchero was really and the rest of the guys did their jobs.

The entire Celtics team regressed to the mean on 3s and Banchero hit 8 of 11 after coming in shooting 25% up to this point.

NBA recently improved payments of $25 million dollars to former ABA players. I think there is like -115 still alive. The first round of payments included $100,000 to one undisclosed player.

These are players that played at least three years in the ABA and never qualified for an NBA pension.

So I was reading about this guy who is going to buy the Suns. At the beginning there was a bit about how he played college basketball at Michigan State when they shipped. Never heard of him, and I thought that’s quite an interesting life trajectory: scrub at MSU eventually becomes rich enough to buy the Suns. I wonder how that happened. Let’s find out.

I should have guessed:

That’ a pretty big leap to equate joining his father’s mortgage firm as the reason he’s rich enough to buy an NBA team. Left out a couple of minor details:

He “worked his way up.”
