Can you imagine a Twin Towers of Chet and Victor?

Still not sold on Chet until I actually see it.

Just needs to fill out.

Apparently Poole is a massive shit talker even when his play doesn’t support it. He apparently wouldn’t shut up when he was a rookie (and sucked), to other teams players or his teammates. Apparently Dame doesn’t like him because of that.

I was listening to a little talk about the value of the Cavs unprotected picks to the Jazz. It’s hard because they are so far out, but one thing that I think adds some potential value for the Jazz is expansion to Seattle and Las Vegas. They’re both going to be Western Conference teams, which means two of these three are moving East - and likely strengthening the East.
Memphis
Minnesota
New Orleans

Hope they keep Memphis / Minnesota together. That playoff series was great, and having two young teams that despise each other is good television.

It will just be one team moving, to create a 16/16 balance between west and east. My money is on Minnesota, it would make sense with Mil/Chi/Det/Ind/Cle being closer than any other west team, and I think the new owners are both east coast guys.

Good point, I’m bad at math!

Assuming expansion to 32 teams will happen at some point and those teams will be in Seattle and Las Vegas, what’s the next round of expansion after that?

Portland (Maine), second team in Milwaukee, Vancouver (they get the Grizzlies name back), and Roswell (New Mexico).

Thinking further out, the next four would likely be Montreal, San Diego (they DO NOT get the Clippers name back - Steve Ballmer is too powerful), St. Louis, and The Villages.

Mexico City would be a pretty sick city for a team.

Can’t argue with your other selections though.

What about Alaska and Hawaii? They’re criminally underrepresented in pro sports.

Red Claws forever.

It seemed like Louisville thought they had a legit shot this time around. Montreal would be a lot of fun, and it’s sneaky bigger than most people think.

The Rainbow Warriors of Hawaii will once again be the most traveled team in 2019, racking up 28,161 miles over the course of next season. That’s a decrease of almost 10,000 miles over their 2018 total of 37,703 miles, thanks in part to not having to play at Army in West Point this season. On the other side of the spectrum, Georgia likely won’t have to step foot in an airplane during their regular season (though they probably still will with that booster money flowing in), traveling a mere 1,671 miles all season.

Hawaii will fly nearly 50% farther than the second most-traveled school in the FBS this season. That second team, Army, spends most of their travel on an away game at, you guessed it, Hawaii itself.

Holy shit.

That is way worse than I was expecting.

Yeah and seems like the warriors were entirely content trying to sweep it under the rug.

I know in the past such sporting fracases would often be celebrated but I don’t feel like we are in a place where collectively we celebrate criminal violence any more.

I do love the people/players/teams/ex players who seem more concerned with finding out who leaked the video to TMZ than dealing with what Draymond did.

Oops…
