National Basketball Association - 2022/23 Season (Part 1)

I have no words for what happened those last five minutes.

Jimmy buckets absolutely dominating

It’s just two similar teams Boston is down 2 starters, Miami 1.

Some great blocks in this game

All credit to Miami for coming out for the second half but that’s the worst quarter I’ve seen the Celtics play all year.

Celtics remind me of the warriors in so many ways. A big one is they will randomly get away from what’s been working really well and just lose focus, play sloppy, and take horrible shots.

Both gsw and celts can just have games where they are just reckless with the ball and have just so many turnovers

While I agree with this poast my god were you watching Q1??? They literally could not miss! Just hopeful floaters rainbowing in over and over like it was drawn up that way

Herro was the exact kind of player Milwaukee needed to beat Boston. Had absolutely no dribble creators/shooters.

Ridiculous they only got one day rest before starting this series after playing the Bucks every other day since May 7th. That has a lot to do with it, imo.

Bad news for them is that this series is every other day til the end and the Heat don’t get tired.

I really don’t understand why they play every other day. Basketball is way more fun when the players aren’t exhausted.

At least give them 2 days when you switch courts

Because then they’re playing into July

The funniest was on herro when he fell from the sky like a shot bird.

Okay so wear the mask or don’t what is this nonsense here

Does that cross with NFL or something that would hurt their ratings? Or players want more time off?

Also solution to that is making regular season 60ish games

Feels like Boston was running on adrenaline in the first half and crashed after they stopped moving around during half-time. They’ve been sloppy and lacking crispness of execution in the second half. Their legs seem too tired to make jumpers. The effort is still there, but they look a half-second too slow on a lot of things.

Playing down two starters in an 8 man rotation, on the road, and on no rest won’t win you many games.

Relying on Theis and Nesmith for anything is not a winning formula.

I played enough Vice City to feel like I’ve lived there my entire life.

Yeah it’s possible that war with the bucks took too much out of them. What an absolute brutal schedule

My main worry was Celtics getting a bunch of rest while our old guys took 6 or 7 to put away the mavs but hopefully this series goes 6 or 7.
