The flailing out is more him trying to induce the ref to call a foul on his opponent, imo.
I actually think that calling more offensive fouls against stars would make the game better by elevating the value of role players and making it more of a team game. I like watching guys try to draw charges.
Boston has been putting on a clinic. I almost wonder if they brought in Coach K to work with them on trying to draw charges.
This is the shittiest form of basketball. They probably need to review this in the offseason as the NBA has been infected with this bs from college basketball.

I could see the ref going either way on this one. He was moving but I think he did get there a hair before the contact.
Giannis be paying off the refs. Only thing that makes sense.
He was leaning into Giannis to initiate the contact, but playing ādefenseā in this way has been encouraged by the way refs have called this series so far.
Probably better for the Celtics that they reversed that and gave another foul to Williams so maybe he gets benched
