Its the cast of Night of the Living dead but its been colorized for some reason
I know some of you guys out there like old-timey shit, I got two absolute bangers for you:
King of Chinatown (1939) is a strong, strong recommend for those of you who like classic film noir / gangster movies. It features Anna Wong, Hollywoodâs first ever Asian-American star. Itâs got the classic gritty film noir sense of style but also astonishingly woke racial/sexual politics, itâs just a bop.
Also, itâs on YouTube for free:
Also, Seconds is a strong rec if you like weird shit like Carnival of Souls and you love 1960âs psychedelic sci-fi like The Twilight Zone. Go into this movie cold, do NOT read anything about this movie before jumping in, come in blind and itâs great.
I love every James Bond movie as if they were my children but QoS is definitely the one that keeps getting into trouble with the cops. Its just a dull movie with a nonsensical plot. I also didnât care for Spectre and actually found Waltzâ Blofeld to be a huge disappointment.
Skyfall>Casino>>NTTD>>>Spectre>QOS
Got around to watching Maverick. Super formulaic and cheesey, but the plane bits are great in a theater.
That first bar scene is all kinds of terrible though. Its as though it was written for an entirely different movie
Was thinking the poker movie at first. Really confused why there would be a plane scene.
I really didnât like Skyfall actually because Bond is an incompetent moron in it, which is the one thing his character should never be. Hey letâs take M to a completely undefended location, oh that didnât work out well, who could have seen this coming?
I saw it at the cinema in a charity double-header with the coming of age movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower and was very surprised when that was the movie I preferred. Recommended if you havenât seen it btw. Emma Watson is extremely sexy in it.
Itâs a copy of the scene from the first one.
Yea we saw maverick last week and my gf and I watched the first one last night since she hadnât seen it and we kept talking about how many scenes were ripped from the first in some way
Right. Thats the movie im talking about
QoS is the only plotline that has a realistic chance of happening in the near future.
I thought Casino Royale was the concensus #1 Daniel Craig bond movie. I donât remember loving Skyfall but Iâve watched CR a dozen times
It was the only one that I liked.
Skyfall >>> Casino Royal imo.
Iâd rank it one of the best of the entire franchise. Great opening, one of the best theme songs, one of the best exotic locations on that abandoned island (which is real), fantastic cinematography for the Shanghai high rise fight, Moneypenny origin story, dramatic changing of the gaurd from Dench to Voldemort, the Aston Martin comes out of retirement, homoerotic Javier Bardem as the bad guy. Good stuff all around.
I almost cried when the bad guys fucked up the classic Aston Martin. Not cool, man.
Skyfall is straight up Roger Deakins porn. It and Casino Royale are so far ahead of any other DC ones.
I thought No Time to Die was fairly bad. Rami Malek completely wasted.
I disagree with the first half (I thought it was pretty decent), but the second half is obvious. I could have played that role.
King shit:

Yep
Rami Malek should have been a great bond villain.
like we deserved a bond - mr robot installment, but it was something else entirely ?
