For me, itâs in part because the director inserted little moments of humor that emphasize how real this all feels. Instead of being absurd and taking us out of the story, it gives the action scenes real weight.
At least its more efficient than flash banging the guy who doesnt even have a weapon drawn
We need to know theyâre serious. Also the guy was kind of an ass to John so we are taught not to care about him.
