My thing was first B-movie that went legit blockbuster main stream. Of course trolly had to aspie all over it with his special effects budgeting (no offense to real asipies, weāre all on the spectrum here). But itās a B-movie in spirit.
In the 80s discerning movie fans were supposed to like Ordinary People or Kramer vs. Kramer. Somehow sci-fi b-movies and horror b-movies, but action b-movies were for the unwashed masses or something. Die hard broke through that.
