OK BOOMER
Some of the most famous action sequences from the film are taken from the book:
- McClane crawling through HVAC ducts.
- McClane dropping a C-4 bomb down an elevator shaft.
- McClane jumping off an exploding roof with a fire hose attached to his waist and then shooting through a window to gain re-entry.
- McClane taping his gun to his back at the climax.
I swear if they knew this movie would become an all-time hit, the dialog would not be this wide open.
That’s what I was alluding to earlier. This was the first legit B-movie that went supernova.
I think if they had any idea how popular it would be the dialog(ue?) would be more calculated and much lamer.
Agree. Good points.
See I love love love this action sequence. Nothing totally violates all the laws of physics. Preposterous? Sure. Impossible? Well - maybe not? That’s good enough for me.
These were def not B-movie production values and effects at the time.
Does this stop you from enjoying the new Fast and Furious movies?
There was a book?
We’re gonna need some more FBI guys I guess - top 5.
Why are you the way that you are?
No I was fine with one. I got a little bored after that.
Skinny black guy punching skinny black guy!
Budget: $28 million
Of that, $5 million went to Bruce Willis. It was an unheard of sum and made him the highest paid film actor.
We really should watch First Blood. So good.
Lets FUCKING GO LIMO DRIVER
Or the original Rocky.
I never seen First Blood in its entirety.
I have learned from this movie that when you still $600M they will find you.
