Lol, no, I meant in real life. Obviously the movie magic of it is beyond ridiculous. Its the first example of “Actually, John McClane is a superhero” which gets much worse in the sequels.

But this is the only stunt in the whole movie that is literally outside the realm of physics - and not even close. Pisses me off. Why not make it more realistic? Have him catch himself by wedging his leg or something somehow.
