Want my evening shift back and to listen on the radio

That’s weird becsuse Shin Soo Choo donated $1000 to each minor league player in the Texas Rangers organization.

I had assumed they were not being paid.

Weird link. Has that headline but then just tells me to ask why Alex Cora is not banned for life?

Maybe because I had it on reader mode.

MLB really wants to bury the sign stealing scandal. Releases their report at the perfect time to bury it and claims that the Red Sox cheating was just some lone wolf video guy doing it all on his own, and their known sign-stealing manager had no knowledge or involvement in the scheme.

Doesn’t seem plausible that this guy was updating the team throughout the game on the opposing teams signs so they could decode them when on second, but that everyone just thought he was using advanced scouting and not in game information.

Need help picking a team?

List of Foreign Players: https://mykbostats.com/players/foreign

As an A’s fan, I can narrow it down to Aaron Brooks’s Kia Tigers and Dan Straily’s Lotte Giants. Leaning towards the Giants.

Dan Straily was a Cincinnati Red and trading him gave us Luis Castillo. Reason enough for me to pick the Giants.

Are they letting fans in? Is this sane? I’d love to have baseball on tv, but I’m not sure I wanna see a second wave spread in real time.

Some other musings…

In 1876 the NL was founded, and major league baseball began. Before that, the top level of baseball was the National Association. In 1875 the Boston Red Stockings, predecessor to today’s Atlanta Braves, won the NA with a 71-8 record (.899). Today’s Braves are the last non-major league club to “stake a claim” to be #1.

If there is no MLB in 2020, who will be the next non-major league club to “stake a claim” to be #1? What league that might play in 2020 could be considered the highest level? I’d WAG Japan if they play. And which team will win that league?

ETA: Any websites doing English language fantasy on Korea? I’d hate to have to score by hand out of the Korean language box scores.

I think they are playing in front of empty stands

It’s like we’ve somehow found a way to make this pandemic even more boring. You’re stuck inside and now you have to watch baseball.

If they had an infection control person in the booth doing commentary on players’ mask use, I’d be all in.

DFS is all over the KBO, and this English language site looks like it could be used for season fantasy, and looks like it is free.

So let’s do an Unstuck KBO season fantasy league !!!1!

Nc Dinos all the way.
