But don’t the fans still do the racist tomahawk chop?
I’m not talking about the Braves specifically, just the homer hats around the league. I assume they still do the tomahawk chop in Atlanta.
Yes, the Atlanta Racists still do the chop.
Comically-large prop hats without the garish New Era logo are disallowed but celebratory Klan hoods are perfectly legal.
Sacramento Kings: Light the beam.
Atlanta Braves: Light the cross.
The tomahawk chop is more annoying and stupid than racist (though still racist) imo
Bill Burr nailed it here
Yeah it’s ridiculous, the Braves start playing it on like every pitch late in a close game. Although maybe not so much now with the pitch clock.
Trout had 3 hits, two home runs, 5 rbis. Ohtani had 3 hits and 2 stolen bases. Angels lose 7-5
I wonder what the monthly data looks like, like can we expect this year’s average to rise for that or any other reasons we can think of? 28 minutes seems beyond the pitch clock’s capabilities, but maybe I am underestimating the time between pitches previously, or there’s something psychological resulting in more contact, fewer takes and/or fewer swinging strikes, when there’s a clock.
What’s the foul ball frequency like?
The pitch clock is so amazing. Yesterday I watched a 10-inning game that went 2:24. Granted, it was a 1-0 game, but that still would’ve taken close to three hours in recent years.
This indicates 20-25 minutes of extra time between pitches, but that is based on pitchers using full pitch clock. As seen this season though, most pitchers throw with at least a few seconds to spare and some much quicker now.
Crowd reaction off the bat is wild.

Dave Kingman says to hold his beer.
The Red Sox currently have the second best RPI which I think means they’re the second best team in the league
lol Reds
Highest since Tungsten Arm O’doyle hit the light tower at Ebbets Field at the Brooklyn Dodgers home opener in 1913, of course.
this dumb-ass review taking an eternity, and they got it all wrong!
