Might have to shop around. Lids and Dick’s both appear to have some in stock that aren’t on the New Era site. I wonder if this was a big flipper product? My local Lids stores had some of the less popular teams in stock for years after the last WBC which is how I scored some cheapos.
The Pakistan and China ones are sick, Netherlands one isn’t bad too although I don’t like the flag colors with the hat
Are you in USA? Neither of those sites had it then or now for me.
I only found Cuba and China on one site a few weeks ago, a department store I can’t remember, which must be an international department store (but one I’ve been to in the USA). The page for both hats said “not available in your country” and wouldn’t ship to USA using a VPN

I didn’t mean Cuba specifically, was just responding to most of the hats on New Era site being sold out.

It was Macy’s, where Cuba actually shows up but with the text saying it’s not available.
USAians can buy throwback hats from pre-revolution Cuban teams. But not post-revolution.

Not sure what I’m missing: I saw the hat on multiple sites but just said sold out, not that it wasn’t available? I bet it was produced in extremely limited quantities since Team Cuba’s real hat isn’t made by New Era. The one New Era is selling is a 9Forty snapback version only, not a 59Fifty fitted. If you could somehow manage to import the real fitted version (I think the company is called Teammate) without getting arrested I’d be super impressed.
It’s not listed at all on the biggest sites. It never was. Not on the first day when they all became available and none were sold out.
The few sites that listed it, showed it as “Not Available” not “sold out”

You search on New Era site for Cuba and you get 145 Cubs results. Zero Cuba. Don’t know where you are seeing 9forty Cuba

I’m coming to you live from the HEARTLAND of America. I just pulled up Fanatics / Lids / MLB Shop and it says out of stock. If I go to the Cuba Team Shop, I can buy a Team Cuba beach towel for $31.99 so doesn’t seem to support your theory.
I get Access Denied error when attempting to access these sites using Tor after refreshing a dozen or so Tor nodes.
Fanatics has an official eBay store and had a listing for the Cuba hat. Says they sold 10 with 16 available, but listing was discontinued because item is unavailable. Difficult to infer what that means, but I’m not sure it implies they were selling these and then had to pull them from market. My first guess would be the production numbers were super low and it sold out across platforms almost instantly. Maybe you could email them and find out?
The Korean one is also a 9Fifty snapback instead of 59Fifty fitted, and I think it’s because New Era doesn’t make hats for the Korean team. Those are kind of shitty value at $39.99 when the fitted ones are only a dollar or two more.

It’s a beach towel as I stated. The hat is sold out, and they don’t show sold out products on live inventory pages so obviously you won’t see it there.
It’s not a mistake, I just switched the numbers. Last one was 16 sold with more than 10 available, and the listing a week prior was 33 sold with more than 10 available. I’d bet dollars to donuts that their “more than 10 available” is not directly tied into the Fanatics database inventory backbone in real time given that this is an eBay listing, and they sold as many as they could across all sites until inventory was exhausted (which was a tiny production run). You could just ask them though.
The joke here is that if they really did produce only 50 or so of these things, it would be one of the rarest collectible hats ever made and you wouldn’t be able to wear it.
