In the first inning Marte looked like he injured his leg sliding into second but stayed in the game.
In the second inning Alonso got hit by a pitch on his hand while swinging and probably broke his hand.
Darvish just hit his third batter.

funny thing is, Muncy was having a terrible year hitting only .150 and turner is hitting over 300 in a 1-2 count against a lefty pitcher this season (not for his career obviously), la russa vaguely referenced those stats and espn looked it up, they aren’t against him like you’d think. (muncy said that fired him up though)
It’s just this is one of those sample size issues thing that led to a fps that backfired but some nerd would have approved somewhere, maybe in the white sox org who does those things idk.
