Sox bullpen is gassed, I’ve got a bad feeling about this
I really don’t understand pulling houck. Super short leash, yeah, but the bullpen has been horrific and this is pretty much a must win game.

If Seattle holds, tomorrow might be the greatest regular season baseball day of all time. Giants and Dodgers in a slugfest for the NL West Ttitle. 4! Teams vying for two playoff spots in the AL. There is something like 9 or 12 different poasible outcomes that could lead to two 1 game playoffs for the right to play a 1 game wild card game to get into the division series.
And it all starts at the same time. If there is a Red Zone for Baseball I need it now just for tomorrow.

I know they have to but man it looks silly there’s a AL contending team who is at NL on the final day.
Boston and New York will lose and Toronto and Seattle win for the four way tie. Book it.
what happens in a 3/4 way tie?
Basically, they seed based off of H2H records.
In a 3-way tie for one spot, they have the bottom 2 seeds play and the winner hosts the top seed.
In a 3 way tie for 2 spots, the top 2 seeds play, winner advances and loser plays the third seed for the other spot.
A 4 way tie is just an extra single-elimination playoff round.
Man I’m so bummed right now. Sox fan living in DC, bought tickets to today’s game for us and my parents for my dad’s bday. Meaningful game, last game of the season, and it happens to be right next door.
Just got a call from mom, they’re not feeling well and think it’s best to stay home. Unlikely to be COVID (but they’re taking an in-home test anyways) but still probably the right move. Incredibly disappointing, though.
