who is that you ask, a not good journeyman OF who’s only here cause everybody else isn’t. before being a Cub, he had 3 combined HR’s in MLB in over 140 games. Just 3 this year before that game.
Sure you might point out the rest of the cubs combined got one hit. but one journeyman=all those guys they traded, chess mate.

Yesterday Seby Zavala, white sox 4th strong catcher with 0 previous home runs hit 3 (first player to hit 3 home runs in the same game he hits his career first).

Brewers getting wrecked by COVID. Yelich first, then two middle relievers, now Hader. I think all were vaccinated. And two more guys have/have had to quarantine because of close contact protocols.
It’s so bad they signed John Axford (which is actually pretty cool for him and Brewers fans).
Fortunately, they happened to make trades for a couple relievers, but Hader’s absence could hurt.
