Am I the only one who thinks baseball shouldn’t adopt changes that will never suffice the craven robots?
Same goes for AI umpiring on balls and strikes.

Acuna down for like 10 mins looks like his knee is out. tried to walk out on his own but couldn’t make it and they carted him off.
Jazz got an inside the park home run out of it.
It always seem like the medical treatment in mlb is years behind. How are you letting him walk on his own in this scenario
Just saw it, looked really bad. At least it wasn’t the knee where he already messed up his ACL.
A drive into deep left field by Castellanos!!!
i wonder if one of the broadcast teams was talking about something somber at the time?
lol
This one is national broadcast on FOX.
I think the AI umpiring is a good idea. The strike zone shouldnt be subjective and has a huge outcome on the game in this era. It can be integrated pretty seamlessly. It has worked well in tennis. Otherwise I’m fine not tinkering with rules.
ah i was listening to the “radio”
We’ve got DRAMA!
With the Giants win and the Sox loss the Giants are guaranteed to have the best record at the all star break.
The last time that happened has to be 50+ years ago.
Yelich definitely made a move toward 2nd and that is easily the correct call.
first base coach should have moved in faster to shut him up to prevent the ejection.
Also, Jonathan India ROTY!
idk the exact rule but his entire body is in fair territory so that’s the reason for the out call. If the rule is intent only --it’s really hard to be sure that left foot step is intended to turn to go to 2nd.
I’m sorry, but he did NOT go around. Even the announcers saw it.
I do love seeing some fire from Joey, though
He made a really obvious move toward 2nd then changed his mind.
Yeah it didn’t even look close to me but I never saw a great angle on it.
It’s not obvious since he never turns that inside foot toward 2nd but it’s a judgment call in the rules anyway.
I don’t like Gerrit Cole, but he pitched a great game in Houston.
good god that was stressful
