I think the AI umpiring is a good idea. The strike zone shouldnt be subjective and has a huge outcome on the game in this era. It can be integrated pretty seamlessly. It has worked well in tennis. Otherwise I’m fine not tinkering with rules.

Yelich definitely made a move toward 2nd and that is easily the correct call.
first base coach should have moved in faster to shut him up to prevent the ejection.

idk the exact rule but his entire body is in fair territory so that’s the reason for the out call. If the rule is intent only --it’s really hard to be sure that left foot step is intended to turn to go to 2nd.
