At that point I think he was considered one of the biggest 1st round-1st overall busts ever. Nothing he’s doing seems sustainable, but that’s what I said a week or two into the Maniac era. Dude basically never walks and strikes out at a 30% clip with a .450 BABIP haha. His plate discipline metrics are completely ridiculous. Here’s 2023 Moniak (2023 League Average):
