I don’t know about recent but he’s infamous for having to be admitted to the hospital. He’s had COVID bad enough to admitted multiple times plus some kind of bowel impaction and some kind of flesh eating something or another

Good riddance. It is unclear how she was in any way qualified to be defence minister. Along with van der Leyen she is responsible for the desolate state the Bundeswehr is in.
Now maybe the Bundeswehr can put their crosshairs back onto the future!
I dont think its that easy. Minister of defense is one of the worst positions you can get in german government. You get all the blame for its shortcomings but the will to spend the money isnt there. You just dont win many votes making promises to bolster the BW. Not even sure what happened to the promised 100 billion.

Similar to my city who reelected a corrupt mayor only to see him being banned from office again. People are dumb.
Imagine a politician who comes in, tries to do good and then leaves when they feel unable to to any more good.
