The last sentence is the key. It’s obviously great for the GOP if the Republicans are viewed as the party of white people and Democrats are viewed as the party of minorities. Minorities are in the minority! Historically, this gradually stopped working, as explicitly running this message is a turn-off for white people. Cf. the Lee Atwater quote about having to come up with facially neutral policies that can serve as a proxy/dogwhistle to get the message across to racist whites that Republicans are the white party. But if the Democrats start explicitly talking about prioritizing the interests of minority groups, it’s a win-win for the GOP, and of course they’ll play along as had as they can.

Agree, but there are still instances when they’re not so subtle. I can’t remember the wording of the ad exactly, but something about the democratic candidate being “for they, them” and our guy being for “we, us”.
You’re halfway right, I think. Dems lose because it doesn’t “feel” like they’re doing anything even when they do things that objectively help put money in worker’s pockets. Perceptions are completely dominated by a media system that’s dominated by billionaire perverts who absolutely do not want labor issues to be the story of the day. Dems can adopt whatever pro-worker policies/messaging you’d like, none of it matters if Joe Rogan can shift the nation’s attention onto trans kids playing college softball or Haitians eating people’s pets or whatever the GOP plen-t-plaint grievance of the day is.

People vote on issues to a degree, like Republicans voted to preserve the USA as a white nation and Democrats voted to try to save abortion rights.
I think for the most part they really know immigrants aren’t making them poor, they just want the country to stay white.

I don’t think most Republicans hate non-white people entirely or would hate visiting Mexico City or Tokyo. They don’t mind a few ethnic neighborhoods or 10 percent non-white at their schools, but when you start threatening the white majority people freak out. It happened in California at the end of the last Century and it’s happening to the USA now.
The differences are meaningful though. The parties agree on things that the donor class wants and then they make people cut each other’s throats over the things the donor class doesn’t care about.
But the differences on abortion and gay marriage and other things are still meaningful. People aren’t being tricked though, they are being coerced.
Just need to boost non-white immigration massively the next time a Democrat is in charge.
That’s a loser with Democratic voters as well.

I’ll also point out that it’s a lot easier to tell a clear story when your allies have captured huge parts of media.
Democrats failed at propaganda in 2024, not in policy achievements. Biden created the best major economy in the world. Didn’t matter. Everyone “knew” it was bad.
Meh, I saw you get into this debate with CommonWealth on SPE which he won pretty handily while you were constantly playing Semantikes games and goal post shifting so I’m not going to bother to get into it with you as it’s a waste of my time. I will say that the economy was fantastic for people who have high paying stable jobs, but for the average person bearing the brunt of the inflation and the constant squeezing of the various rent seeking monopolies it was not so great.

The economy grew the most for the lower end of the scale. Again and again facts go one way here. People get stuck on “the economy should be better for lower income people” which sure, we can all agree on that. However, there wasn’t a time in recent history when more improvements were made in the bottom quartile of American economy than under Joe Biden.
But hey, you can lean on shitty little insults instead of facts, go for it
