So this is a subsidy for lawyers. There isnāt a defense to the overwhelming majority of evictions. The tenant didnāt pay their rent, they get evicted.
God forbid they extend the eviction moratorium or provide rent relief/cancellation.

Iām hearing on twitter that the bill will also include a medium sized cardboard box for every evicted family, in what will be the most sweeping government housing program in modern history.

This makes no sense. It would have been better had they been evicted in June? The program should be extended for sure but itās weird to say itās a subsidy for landlords.

Evicting someone when you know they have nowhere to go is pretty evil. Like I know the brain worms have taken hold and youāre about to spout some gibberish about how itās unfair to the person with several homes, but like, the actual act of throwing someone on the street is incredibly callous.
