Fuck, I saw “r/neoliberal” and assumed it was a sarcastic page full of memes mocking centrists. I went to it and… damn. I have no doubt that the people that frequent that Reddit would readily compromise to the middle track.

Ha, this reminds me of a friend shall we say who allegedly recovered some anti-gay marriage signage that was all over southern California before an election. The signs then sat in his trunk for a couple of months and were discovered when the car went in for repairs. Probably nobody cared, but no way to explain that one.
In 2015 my wife bought me a little bag of Trump swag as a joke. It was at the point where most people weren’t taking him seriously, but still obviously a dumb thing to do in hindsight.
Anyway there have been several times where movers/car mechanics/etc have found MAGA hats or bumper stickers buried in weird places and there’s no way to respond to that. Just absolutely mortifying. Last time we moved I think I successfully threw away the last of it.
