If anyone wants to @ Cornel for going on Tucker - take off hoser - Cornel rules and he knows better than you.
Vid is from like 2018.
I started to reply but I couldn’t put my finger on what I wanted to say, which was basically this.

lol, replies to this tweet are all “omg I wish I was there” and “how beautiful”
Meanwhile I’m sitting there going “holy shit, get the FUCK out of there that thing could kill you!” Moose are fucking MEAN.
I’m watching it now and still can’t believe it’s an actual thing that happened.
Just down the street at Clairemont High is where famed writer Cameron Crowe posed as a student and penned the classic film “Fast Times at Ridgemont High.”
The students didn’t really believe Crowe was a student… because he came and went as he pleased without consequences. Most thought he was a narc.
His last episode with Snowden was good.
Honestly, Rogan is best when shutting up and letting his guests talk.
Once again, and just for fun…
If the banker asked me to vote for his horse, and I otherwise wouldn’t vote… what do you think my odds are if I offer them this deal: I’ll vote for your horse if you do a prison phone zap? How about you yourself?
75% of his political guests are fucking scumbags though. This last bit about leftists starting forest fires came from an episode with Douglas Murray, who is a Tucker Carlson level reactionary.
Most would be seriously unsure if they were allowed to make a deal like that at all. I find that most bankers are very tentative and are very concerned about breaking any rules (real or imagined). This is a consequence of their training or lack thereof.
As for me personally, I’m a “how can we get this done” kind of person, so I’d probably take your deal.
Were talking about against the law, not fear of being retaliated against by their volunteer boss, correct? I don’t imagine that the volunteer bosses GAF what the volunteers do outside of their banking shifts. But you’d know better than me. Do they?
As for legality… I’m not a lawyer. Perhaps it would be legally akin to vote swapping…
yeah, I was talking about legality. I can see it’s a grey area. I am personally fine with taking the chance, because why not? But most people have a much lower risk tolerance than I do and would rather just err on the side of caution.
(it’s why most people don’t even phone bank in the first place)
You should have seen the Pete slack when we were text banking. It was full of people asking “Am I allowed to say xyz?” and stuff like that. People need handholding.
I certainly wouldn’t take that chance from either side of the deal.
I also would never trade a vote in an election I felt was legitimate. I’m a member of my union branch endorsements committee. I’d never tell, say a DSA peep, that I’d vote to endorse an action of theirs if they’d do some activism grunt work for me.
I suppose avoiding voter fraud, if it even is, is worth saying no.
I’d probably consider saying no on the phone and explaining why, then looking into doing it anyway, because hell, I’m already phonebanking.
The lead character is an actual racist (with a heart of gold, so we don’t have to feel bad about rooting for the racist).
I agree that Clint isn’t a full-on white supremacist, but he loudly–and goofily–supports the party of full-throated racism. Fuckim.
I like Eastwood’s films generally but there is a fairly heavy dose of Rugged Independent Man mythology that runs through them. Interestingly a film like Unforgiven manages to combine RIM mythology with a tearing down of Western mythology. Interesting stuff.

Should’ve done it wearing a police uniform, then the worst that happens is he gets transferred to another dental practice.
