Throw some poisoned meat at the dog next time you walk by.
This is like murdering a child because their parents didn’t teach them manners. Which I am also for.
In my neighborhood I think some combination of loneliness and seeing sappy social media posts from animal rescue agencies made everyone decide that this was the perfect time to adopt a dog…
Last week my daughter was out with her BF (she is at his mother’s house looks like for the duration) and his dog was attacked by an off-leash _ _ _ / _ _ _ _. He kicked the dog off his dog and the _ _ _ / _ _ _ _'s owner pepper sprayed her own dog - pepper spray that she apparently carried around to stop her dog from killing.
Why? It’s the owners who are being assholes.
How are the shelters open? Mom’s been waiting for weeks to adopt a new cat and pick up the ashes of her old one.
How are parks open?
This has definitely happened. Adoptions are way up.
Sounds like an anxious little guy who needs to work on his manners.
The owner?
People are permitted to walk about the park for exercise. There’s plenty of space and it’s easy to avoid people. idk if the nature trails are open, they seem like a bad idea right now.
In Toronto the off leash parks are all closed. I think people kept using them until tickets were handed out.
This makes no sense. I use our off leash park all the time with basically zero risk. It’s easy to stay dozens of meters from people and the only thing you touch is the gate coming and going, which is easy to mitigate.
I’d say it is a close to zero risk as possible and has huge benefits.
Sort of a joke. The parks are all closed here and the beach. I think closing the path next to the beach is not a bad idea, but it’s very easy for people to be 20’ apart on the beach at all times - and sit like 50’ apart.
Yeah, I’m not sure why they did that. I assume that either people were standing around in groups like idiots or people thought dogs could spread the virus.
The shelters are closed now, but, at least in this area, there was a window of between when they knew that they would have to close and when they actually had to shut their doors, and during that time they were trying to find fosters/ adopted homes for the animals.
The problem—the reason you see this behavior—is that you erroneously put spaces around the double hyphens.

My neighbors have the world’s friendliest cat which goes up to everyone who passes by looking to be pet. It’s definitely a possible vector for transmission.

“I don’t like what I do professionally… I don’t think it’s worth my time.” Cuomo said he missed the freedom to tell his critics to “go to hell,” saying: “That matters to me more than making millions of dollars a year… because I’ve saved my money and I don’t need it anymore.” Speaking about his job as the host of CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time , he said he doesn’t want to spend his life “trafficking in things that I think are ridiculous,” like “talking to Democrats about things that I don’t really believe they mean,” and “talking to Republicans about them parroting things they feel they have to say.” Cuomo concluded: “I’m basically being perceived as successful in a system that I don’t value. I’m seen as being good at being on TV and advocating for different positions… but I don’t know if I value those things, certainly not as much as I value being able to live my life on my own terms.”
