I donât think there was a conspiracy but for this to happen someone probably screwed something up with maintenance right? Not like this was an act of god and lightning struck.
Maintenance of the barge you mean? Its possible. There are also reports there may have been a fire which can devastate a boatâs electrical systems.
Maintenance of the bridge? Literally zero could have been done on bridge maintenance that woule have stopped this.

Ok yeah, sorry I used Barge. Same thing. Again, its possible. Ill be curious to read the findings, but preliminary speculations are some kind of electrical issue, possibly a fire, possibly something else. Maintenance related? Could be, but there will have to be investigations done

They had just left port so anything that was going to be done should have been done. Doesnât mean something they thought was done wasnât done correctly, but I wouldnât imagine they would still be doing any kind of dangerous work to the boat at that point.

Took a picture of one of the cargo ships I passed by today. When you see these things in person it makes it pretty easy to see how one can take down a bridge with relative ease.

Being at the Panama Canal and having one of these things move past in a channel 50 feet above me and the buildings in front of it was surreal.
