I’m willing to admit I’m at least 35 if she picks me
It should be Pete.
kamala / roy cooper incoming
(based on not much, just heard that both kelly and cooper were with her in person in Provincetown yesterday so idk maybe something there)
I am biased here.
But we’re throwing out all these names but there’s one question we haven’t really asked is: who would actually say yes?
I think anyone with presidential aspirations is probably gonna turn down the offer.
I doubt she’ll even ask a dem Senator unless it’s a safe blue seat, which would defeat the purpose entirely.
These unicorn dem governors of red states (cooper, beshear) might be hesitant because they know they’d be turning their states over to republican leadership forever.
I honestly have no fucking clue. That Provincetown fundraiser brought in like $2M, which is crazy. The headliners were Kamala and Pete. If she wants a fundraising powerhouse with experience running a national campaign, then yeah, it’s Pete.
I thought it was pretty well confirmed by a bunch of research that the Vp doesn’t make much of a difference and the whole home state thing is a talking heads myth?
After seeing his last congressional testimony I think Pete would be great for a debate but I’m not sure if there will be one.
I think Pete would be great. Cooper won’t be continuing as governor of NC regardless, and the NC legislature won’t allow a dem governor to have any power anyway.
Pete is an amazing talker and tons of experience. Cooper is straight-from-central-casting safe white guy. I would be fine with either but I think Pete would be the better choice. Is there a chance he wouldn’t want it?
Can’t imagine Pete turning it down, not sure what his next play could be but it’s not better than vP
Has to be Pete or Shapiro
I forgot that Cooper is terming out. That instantly makes him a front runner, imho. Only downside: not midwest.
Harris/Cooper sounds like a mid-level consulting firm
I want a Kamala/Pete ticket so bad.
I don’t know his mind, but he does have pre-school age kids now and might want to spend time in Michigan instead of jumping into this fire.
However, he is also the type that would absolutely step up if asked to serve.
I got nothing special going on right now atm, just throwing that out there.
Man this forum is weird because after the 2020 Iowa caucuses it seemed like everyone but skydiver was posting all this “pete is a CIA ratfucker” shit everywhere. I agree he would be a good VP. Let’s go.
