I was nervous, but she swung it back to Gaza and Palestinians and got a big cheer, so it was good.
Nah, Palestinians need her to talk about defending them in order to vote for her. Also helps with other middle Eastern folk. She has to mention Israelâs safety too in order to not lose most of the Jewish vote.
Had to bring it up and she did well with it.
They all canceled when they found out she was pro genocide.
Feels a bit like they hit a single tonight when everyone was ready to explode for a home run.
I think she did great. Rest of the night was whatever. If convention bounces of more than two points are possible these days, Iâm hopeful we could see it.
I think she did fine. I donât think she overdid it with Trump. She had to point out that if heâs in office again, weâre fucked.
I give it a solid B. Singles are good and 1000% better than what would have been expected two months ago.
Agree. Thatâs why I said a single. Itâs still a hit. Just not a home run.

Moneyball says getting on base is the most important thing. She did good.
She did quite well with her powerful angry speak, very difficult for a women to speak like that without being offputting to many.
Honestly I donât know what all this one-base talk is about. She was great. In no way was I expecting a better speech than that.
Thought she nailed the delivery. Came across as strong and presidential. Important for someone who a lot of people are paying attention to for the first time. Especially for a woman.
Ok, my real critique is how the hell did the DNC not clamp right down on the rumors when they knew that they didnât have shit planned. NBC came on the air at 9 talking about BeyoncĂ© and didnât stop for 2 hours.
Edit: I guess they tried, sorta. Someone posted from the spokesperson earlier.
Maybe a misguided attempt to get more people to watch? I dunno, pretty bizarre.
Not too sure how misguided it is. Fanbases of probably the two biggest music stars feeling like they should probably tune in, many of whom wouldnât have, probably did get more eyeballs on this. And to the extent that the lack of a surprise person disappointed, I donât know of a way they can really pin it on the Dems. They werenât the ones advertising a surprise.
