Itâs kind of funny / sad that all the Dems have to do is pick a basically normal person that doesnât come with a ton of attackable baggage and we all celebrate like we won a Superbowl then had sex with Scarlet Johansson. Someone smarter than me posted here a while back that the Dems do actually have a bench or useful political talent, but the boomer era eDems have/had such a stranglehold on the party for my whole adult life and we were force-fed people like Kerry and Hillary and then they tried for force Expired Joe on us as well. The one time they went âoff bookâ and nominated Obama, they won easily.

I agree; I donât think this is a complete nothing in terms of the attacks theyâll try on Walz. Some persuadables could see it as a bad look. Though I really canât see it being so toxic that theyâll ever view Walz as anything close to a non-starter.
Everything else the GOP is going with so far is pathetic and useless.
At this point if we lose at least we actually put our best foot forward. If these two canât beat Trump then he wasnât being beaten this cycle.

Walz should hammer this home when asked about the precinct/riots. Not sure if it would stick though. Too confusing for normies. Why would a white supremacist start a black riot? Brain hurt.

The main attack is just going to be the generic âtoo radical.â Thatâs already the GOP ad strategy Iâm seeing in Georgia. And with Kamala, the primary highlight is the border.

I think what resonates for me is that - instead of another dead-eyed corporate shill - the dems chose someone whose primary attribute seems to be that he is a genuinely good person. An unexpected breath of fresh air after years of drowning in shithead ghouls.
