I’ve worn flannel pajama pants under jeans before. It’s infinitely more comfortable than just denim on a cold day and I don’t care who judges me for it.

Don’t have or can’t find the thermal underwear? flannel Jammie’s do the trick.
I’m sure they work fine. Any camping / outdoor activity store has thermals readily available. I wear mine all winter.

They make flannel lined jeans too. I wear those during the winter.
