Jeffrey Epstein and Associates

Hedge fund manager? He never made trades, that is a front.

The most insulting part of this is finding out he wasnā€™t a real Queen fan.

Can we at least agree that no matter how he died a lot of very powerful and very rich people are very happy Epstein is dead?

fine delete that. Iā€™m already in too deep, and donā€™t care to be Epsteinā€™s biographer.

His vocation is meaningless and peripheral to the story anyway

Absolutely. There definitely needs to be an inquiry

On the one hand, a lot of people here and other places are going a little overboard. On the other hand, the idea that suspicion of outside interference from some opaque actor is in and of itself just crazy talk is idiotic. Itā€™s not like that speculation is just out of the blue - outside interference from an opaque actor is what happened the last time Epstein was arrested.

That that time it was a sweetheart plea deal doesnā€™t change that fact, unless you think the plea deal was just because the CIA or whoever just really really liked Epstein, super chill guy has his faults but look at that face, you canā€™t stay mad at him.

My point is if anything sinister happened it came from within the DOJ and Barr.

Doesnā€™t exactly take deep thought.

Once he had the most to lose, then one day not so much.

Plus if this is in your back pocket there is not a lot of sweat up front.

Just curious do you think a person of means and with political protection would have a difficult time having someone harmed in a federal prison?

You are just dismissing everything out of hand. Sure none of that may have happened but itā€™s not exactly far fetched or out there.

Regardless his suicide shouldnā€™t have happened and it impacts the prospects of a lot of criminals and victims.

Good point but it swings it both ways for me. Shows how much can be accomplished while incarcerated by those with means. However if Epstein now realized he was in real prison and not faux prison it could lead to suicide.

Itā€™s not like a wealthy person losing all their riches and deciding to kill themselves is some unheard of thing.

Yeah, can always suicide later after you freeroll another trial that youā€™re used to winning. No need to do it now.

Iā€™ve seen better men crash when receiving a short sentenceā€¦ This is what Iā€™m basin my opinions on in that when these privilege peeps are so used to being catered for jail life is hell.
Suicide is the only option for most.
But its a guess until more info comes out, like if thereā€™s no camera evidence then itā€™s a slam dunk he got got, imo.

I wasnā€™t going to say this but itā€™s just as easy for say a well connected guy to say to a guard that itā€™s either you leave him alone or we riot. Thatā€™s the common way for shit to go down like that.

Iā€™d say that this is the conspiracy theory that will never die in my lifetime, even the Talking heads are saying thatā€™s it so so suspicious.

100%agree itā€™s our JFK.

lol

I canā€™t disagree hereā€¦

If thereā€™s supposed to be video under whatever protocol heā€™s in, what kind of odds can I get on there being no video?

1-100 against :v:

Michael Cohen is doing 3 years in club fed and told the reporter lady he always talks to that he was doing well and getting into good shape. They even have tennis courts.

Granted, Epstein was set to do a lot more time in a lot worse place, but surely an ā€œintellectualā€ like Epstein could spend his days reading and writing. Whatā€™s a cell when lost in a good book?

Iā€™m guessing itā€™s unlikely, but did any of the earlier reporting detail how Epstein reacted to his earlier arrest / sentence in Florida.

Circumstances are obviously different, but if a few years ago he was all, ā€œthis is now big deal, Iā€™ll just plea it out, serve a quick sentence and get back on with my lifeā€ and this time his reaction was, ā€œwhelp, Iā€™m really fucked this time, I guess I should kill myself,ā€ that seems indicative ofā€¦ something
