In today’s installment of LOL AMERICA and LOL LAW, Ghislane Maxwell is simultaneously fighting document discovery/release through counsel in front of the same court from which she is evading service in another lawsuit.
So as far as I can tell her lawyers get to advance her interest while telling the court they have no idea where she is. Great system.

By some accounts they know she was in Brazil… Thanks for that ABC podcast, I’ve listened to most of it now (Episode 6) and GM was a grand master.
They talk about the bank on this podcast along with who is controlling the estate.

ABC podcast out today is nuts. The corruption pretty obviously went all the way to the top. State and Federal prosecutors straight up threw the case.
It’s wild that nothing has come out after his death.

State and federal prosecutors were told to back off because of his links to intelligence agencies.

I need to catch back up on this podcast, even just finding out that someone reported him to the FBI in the mid 90s with evidence while the fbi did nothing was pretty mind blowing.
Heh that reminds me of when I was a kid, all the news programs on PBS and “60 Minutes” and the like always gave instructions on how to write in for a free transcript. I always wondered if anyone ever did it.

I wrote in once for a transcript for some PBS documentary. I didn’t receive it after several weeks so I wrote them a letter and eventually got it. Being a crank is a lot easier on the internet.

The piece of this I still don’t get is how he got $600 million. He had exactly one client ever. The only thing that makes sense is a huge blackmail / shake down operation.
