I followed the t.me link and it says that the group discusses “Mudflood research” and “Tartaria”. I googled this and:
A popular notion at present is the existence of a great empire covering the bulk of Asia and Russia until only one hundred years ago that was destroyed and covered up to enable the rise of present nations. This was accomplished by worldwide deluges of mud, modern energy weapons, and the erasure of an advanced architectural and technological civilization that was far beyond its time.
This is a new one on me. There’s more info on the Wiki page for Tartary, which is a blanket term which used to be used for a gigantic region of Northern Asia. It’s like looking at old European maps of the world and concluding that there used to be a vast, South East Asia spanning empire called “The East Indies”.
The conspiracy theory further proposes that world history prior to AD 1600 has been widely falsified to suit the interests of a number of different conspirators including the Vatican, the Holy Roman Empire, and the Russian House of Romanov, all working to obscure the “true” history of the world centered around a global empire called the “Russian Horde”.
So I’m skimming along basking in the glorious insanity of it all and suddenly see a picture of Gary Kasparov, who apparently met Fomenko in the 90s and “was responsible for helping popularize Fomenko’s new chronology.” Dude, c’mon.
Restrict Act could result in 20 year prison sentences for Americans using a VPN to access banned sites. Fucking Biden and all the god damned morons mindlessly consuming propaganda are trying to do another Patriot Act.
My 18 year old is taking a deep dive on Tartaria/New Chronology. This is like a grand-unification conspiracy theory, elements of it have it all: giants, aliens, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, Atlantis, evil Feng Shui, the Masons, Stonehenge, Easter Island, etc.
Flat Earthers had it all wrong because it refers to the present day, if you focus on all of history being a lie you can say whatever you want about anything.
This has been posted on multiple subs in the past 24 hours. Every time it gets posted, a mod comes along a nukes it from orbit, either with zero explanation or with an explanation that makes zero sense in context.
It appears as though these “mods” wield so much power on the site that they can kill anything the least bit detrimental to them. Widespread speculation that these accounts aren’t actual people but controlled by advertisers (or something more nefarious) and it all sounds fairly reasonable tbh.
Sorry for linking to this account, which can be as bad as bad Reddit itself, but it’s about the only place you can find it:
