Has Facebook actually demonstrated that they can effectively block anything? They seem to struggle with isolated propaganda posts that are reported directly to them. On election night tens of millions of Trumpers will be congratulating Dear Leader en masse. They’d have to shut down the whole of Facebook to stop it.

If I start from the POV that animals were put on earth for us to use and discard, then I don’t have to GAF about them and can shoot them in the face and feel glee instead of sadness. I share your skepticism. FB has three billion users. Probably not really but that’s how many “accounts” they’re claiming. If it’s anything close to that in reality, not even FB can stop FB at this point.
Russian agents are probably just waiting for election day. They’ll just push a button and swamp Facebook with messages about Trump’s victory.
Just need to say that Dan Bingobongo or whatever his name is might be the single right wing “news” person that tilts me the most. Just seeing his face gets me annoyed. Hearing him spew bullshit breaks the rage-o-meter.

I don’t get how some of these conservatives have such a huge following. Trump I get, because he’s bombastic and charismatic at the same time. He’s always drawn attention. He’s a fucking loon but I get it. But guys like Hannity, Tucker, and Bongobongo are just dull people with no personality. And yet millions of people buy into their bullshit.

I promise you, you can easily live without Facebook and I was engulfed in technology much longer than almost anyone here, yet I find it trivial to not use Facebook.
