So. Off the back of this thread, I made a second attempt to delete all the news sources and semi-political pages that suck me in to argue with idiots.
However, now the AI is surfacing obscure political topics from other sources just so I can argue with morons. And I fall for it.
Turns out there are lots of rugby fans who are against trans women in sport and white supremacists who follow TED.
Sigh.
I feel you. My main sportsball passion is hockey, and you will be shocked to find out that a sport that is like 99% white folks and beloved by rural Canadians has a fan base that is just packed with deplorables.

This is why I don’t delete Facebook. It’s important to know which of your family/friends are off the deep end. This dude lives in rural PA, so of course he terrified of violence in Portland.
