In fact, this is a politics discussion forum, and democrats going into full trans advocacy mode arguable cost them the election (at least the Republicans put tons of resources into the issue), and perhaps the next election, so open discussion of trans issues is arguably among the most important political issues of the day. I care a lot more about continuing 250 years of liberal democracy than whether kids under the delusion of a social contagion should take hormones characteristic of the opposite sex.
