“You people are going to send my lawnmower into orbit!”
My boss told me he was pissed recently, and I said “fucking lawnmowers”. He just looked at me strangely and carried on.
HYATCHYAHAYTCYATCHY!!!
Those Tuff Fish videos are some of the most entertaining content in internet history. I have been in physical pain laughing at them several times.
Anyone here know anything about preferred stocks and exchange traded debt? We’ve inherited modest positions in some of these assets and I have no clue WTF to do with them or even how to evaluate them.
If you got a step up in basis and they are liquid, sell them and add to your portfolio via index funds, consistent with your risk tolerance.
We did get a stepped up basis. I have no idea how liquid they are. I guess provided I use a limit order I can’t screw myself based on a large bid-ask spread, correct?
Wow a red day? That is very Unstonks like.
Not over here. CRUSHED it today:

Futures drilling too and precious metals dropped bigly, maybe we finally get a pullback?
Portnoy was sick today, that explains it.
A Portnoy Darwin Award would be perfect. What a douchenozzle.
TSLA just jumped 4% in a minute. headed for $2000 today probably
Just think, all jpow had to do was an SPX 5 for 1 split
Would have been so much easier than all this printing and inflation
TSLA is doing a 5 for 1 split. Since the split was announced the share price has jumped from $1370 to $2015
$420.69 * 5 = $2103.45
I dare someone to find a more logical reason for TSLA pumping than that.
TSLA should cancel the stock split, give up like 10% of its recent 50% run, then announce a 6 to 1 split to get another 50% run.
6 to 1 isn’t cool. You know what’s cool? 10 to 1.
P/E ratio 1,030.11
now worth more than walmart
sure
The Tesla thing is beyond weird. They aren’t even really a “tech company”. They are an unprofitable mediocre EV company. They have been around a decade or so and still aren’t capable of even manufacturing a significant number of vehicles let alone making sizable profit.
52 Week Range 211.00 - 2,021.99

Why not split 100 to 1? Twenty bucks a share would excite the wallstreetbets crowd even more, no?
