Kink shame honeypot.

Is that a poll the size of a dick or size poll that’s acting like one?

The full story is a lot messier and even more Hollywood-ready than my truncated version…

I met S at the birthday party of a guy P who I’d met a couple of times with his girlfriend, M, who naturally was also there. S and I happened to be sitting next to each other in the pub and there was pretty obviously a strong connection.

After a night with everyone in an Indian restaurant where I didn’t get a chance to talk to her more because of the seating arrangement, she got totally drunk and was put into the back of a friend’s car to be driven home safely later (where she pretty much passed out). In the chaos of everyone leaving somewhat inebriated I did manage to slip a a small piece of paper with my name and number into her pocket, but didn’t expect anything to come of it.

She did call me though and we met up and things went a lot further than they should have - I say that because the next time we met up a few days later, she was in a very strange mood and after much coaxing eventually revealed that she was in fact another girlfriend of P. We spent the whole night talking about things at her work studio (she was a textile designer) and there were no bad feelings at all, though it was awkward at first.

We all moved on. P and her moved back to Yorkshire, but one day I got a call from him (our mutual friend gave him my number) saying he was down in London and asking if I was free to meet up for a drink, which we did, and we became firm friends from that evening on (he told me S had told him everything and he was okay with it because, after all, he did have M on the go at the same time).

And that’s how the three of us ended up in a pub late one night years later, him passed out and her saying that she wanted to settle down and couldn’t stand P’s drinking (rich coming from her), and that we should get married. She was very bohemian, quite mad and not at all wife material lol.

I had to wait much longer before I met my wife, and thank god I did.

This is definitely true. Not sure exactly what height it starts at but somewhere above 6’2” men start rounding down. Women definitely don’t want to be over 6’ so 6’0 usually says 5’11” and 6’1-6’2 say 6’

I’m a microbet perfect 6’ 2 3/4" and I’ve always rounded down to 6’2", but after getting back into dating apps and realizing 6’2" is the height everyone close to 6’ lies up to I’ve started to call it 6’3". I think mostly I just don’t like odd numbers.

Wasn’t 6’2" = perfect height a Henry17 conjecture?

If you include my hair I look 2-3 inches taller than my shaved head height so when people see me they probably think I’m a giant instead of a really tall dude. As for rounding I couldn’t tell you my exact height to the tenth of an inch because who cares that much? I’ve been 6’5" for all of my adult life, maybe I’m 6’5.5" or 6’4.75" idk

My mother was 5’11 and 3/4". Always rounded down! She’s 85 now and quite happy to be 5’9".
I’m just under 6’3" and go by 6’2". Lots of guys looking up at me say they are 6’2" also.

I feel like a potentially interesting poll I’ve never seen is “How tall do people think you are?”

As far as I know I’m a shade under 6 ft but don’t think I’ve ever measured that tall so I don’t claim it. I’m definitely above average height for a Jewish guy but micro has a good 2-3 inches on me.

I have perfectly average dimensions at 5’10” and a half. My dad was 6’0” so I got a little robbed.

I still am taller than most of my friends, and am taller than most women so I am not insecure about it.

On dating apps though there’s PLENTY of women that swipe left on guys under 6’0” or explicitly say they are not interested in anyone shorter. Lol. Like I’d ever want to date anyone whose sole criteria for a match is something arbitrary and stupid like height.

I’m 5’9 and the only honest man alive. I’m 5’10 in shoes and women think I’m 6’ unless they themselves are 5’5ish or above.

Besides my good posture, they also prbly think I’m 6’ bc every other guy my height tells them they’re really 5’11 and they round up to 6’.

I can tell you being 5’9 is a manlet to everyone the ideal height and above but I’m happy with my height. Mike Tyson and Daniel Cormier were 5’9-5’10 and from watching so much MMA there seems to be a noticeable difference in physiology around 5’5-5’6ish or so (obviously there’s many exceptions). 5’8 and especially 5’9 requires a frame of reference for height to be obvious, it’s why so many male movie stars can get away with being 5’7 and above I’d assume.

I also independently came to the conclusion that 6’2-6’3 is the ideal height from an athletic vantage point, especially fighting. There’s perks to being taller, but trade-offs too. Guys like Bron, Bones, Kobe, Moss, Badr Hari, etc are obviously the extreme outliers at their heights, let alone Giannis and Bam at 7’, as opposed to the normal, more gawky outcome. That’s why to be called a tall WR in the NFL is still merely 6’3-6’4 (Moss was 6’4, TO was 6’3, Calvin Johnson was 6’5 fwiw).

Two inches away from being two inches away (slightly off) is also just a riff on:

During draft night, it was infamously reported by Fran Fraschilla during Caboclo’s selection that he was “two years away from being two years away.”

What’s the shortest height you can select for men on a dating app? Because that’s the one I would choose.

People tend to think of/remember me as huge, although I am Microbet’s perfect height (for which he can vouch). I’m a generally just a big guy, even when de-fattened, which I think creates the impression that I’m taller than I am.

Just don’t ask “How’s the weather up there?”

I have a half brother and I hate that he’s taller than me despite his dad being shorter than my dad.

Interesting to know I’m potentially the tallest person on this forum. I call myself 6’5” but have been measured at 6’6” at some point. Being this tall definitely loses some of its appeal once the athletic career is over as the world is not built for people my height. Would definitely be happy to be a couple inches shorter.
