I think I’m supposed to receive something but this has gone on for several years now so I have no clue wtf is going on. This is the website I was directed to and after providing info somewhere in there it shows their records of my premiums paid during the time period in question for the settlement:
You should have received an email from them telling you what they have on file for the premiums you paid. They also ask if you wanted your payment in the form of an e-gift card. I think if you didn’t opt for the gift card you will eventually receive a check, but when that will happen is a mystery. This has already been like a four year process, but if you paid a lot of money in premiums, like I did ($30k) then the rebate will be in the hundreds. There are several threads on this on Reddit, but the bottom line is that nobody knows exactly what percentage of premiums will be returned to the customers. The consensus seems to be 1-2%.
I haven’t looked at this in forever but I just logged in and it says my total premiums paid are around $76K lol. I will take what they send me, I didn’t even really realize this was a real thing.

Normally I just ignore class action suits bc you end up with like 12 cents but I have a seething hatred for BCBS after what they put me through several years ago so out of sheer pettiness I filled in all the necessary info and want my fucking 12 cents

This is so irresponsible to be promoting to people. My friend tried a bunch of alternative treatments for her breast cancer when she was diagnosed as terminal. She still succumbed to it.
I hate to think of someone going alternative first, spurred on by celebrities who got lucky.
