Matsuyama would be a nice win for me ($20 at +2175)
I ended up parring holes 7-14 including 2 of the hardest holes on the course and finished with a 97. That was without a doubt one of the craziest rounds ive ever played.
15 over through 6 and end up with a +27. And that was with a pretty nasty finish at the end. L o l.
That stretch of holes was the best I’ve ever played and it was surrounded by the worst I’ve ever played. This game is so weird.
I’m all in. I wish I could find the picture but in college our #1 rule was don’t bet on a dog race with money that you owe your exgirl who happens to be a stripper.
He’s a helluva player with another interesting swing proving you can be great at this game without swinging and looking like Adam Scott. Not rooting for him to win tomorrow but hope he will in the future.
I think in golf we all get hung up on trying to find that perfect imitation of a swing. When you’ve gotta find what works for you. Maybe I’ve watched too many Wolff and his coach George Gankas videos but I’ve bought in. I think I posted here how he was kinda arrogant and pompous. More I watched more I think he’s just being instructional (Gankas not Wolff).
Calling the Wolff choke. Dude got so many absurd breaks in the rough today. Two fairways? GTFO
4th golf outing today. I really really really fucking suck at short chips onto the green. I ass blast it over every time. Can’t seem to get any loft on the ball.
00cooler00 loves you so much right now.
I’ve been stalled out at a ~20 handicap for a year now (playing 2 years total), so finally splurged on GG’s online program that I’ve been eyeing for awhile earlier this week. Insanely detailed, well produced and well organized. Already feel like it’s going to be life changing, finally understand how to make a full turn in balance…
Dude. Was fucking up all night last night talking with the wifey about RBG.
Just read that post and gonna sleep soundly tonight for one night before the fall.
This really helped me:
Try putting most of your weight on your front foot. This helps you swing down on it.
Take a few practice swings, see where you’re hitting the ground. This will tell you where to put the ball in your stance.
Then, try to swing down on it mostly with your shoulders and dont try to help it in the air with your hands. Let the club do the work. You can hit slightly behind the ball most of the time and it’ll be fine.
I think people really tend to over complicate the chipping stroke. It’s like one of the easiest techniques to master in all of golf. Controlling distance and spin is where it gets hard.
Good advice. Thanks bud.
I’m all caught up. I’m pulling so hard for bryson. GO GO DECHAMBEAU
He is so inelegant. Just smash smash smash and hope you make a putt. It’s really ugly golf. I realize it’s the future and all but it’s losing the art of the game. Can’t say I’m a huge fan.

I want to root for Bryson but he is just such a massive douche
He’s got a short game though.
I think he plays too slow and it sets a bad precedent for the game, but his swing is pretty nuts. The way he pivots his feet to take pressure off of his spine as he swings 130+mph is kinda cool. I wish I could do that. I’m at 90mph on a great day and all my friends make fun of me.
Matt wolff’s swing really bothers me. It shouldn’t, but it does.
DAVID FEHERTY MOUTH NOISES
Ughh forgot how bad it is
Feherty!
I’ll take Feherty 10 out of 10 times over Faldo or Maltbie.
I understand golf is a tough game to announce but damn do the rest of these people suck as well. Just pay Phil some millions and let him talk instead of play. And then hire Mike Breen for some “BANG” when someone drops a nice putt.
Golf broadcasting is a legitimate outrage. It is so, so bad.
You don’t like 2 min golf, 10 min commercials?
