Was just talking to someone how it is absolutely insane that putting is the one aspect of the game that Tiger Woods doesn’t really have much of a physical advantage over a recreational player, but yet nobody can stomach practicing it enough to get good. Literal cheat code for saving 5 strokes a round, but nevertheless, to the range to bomb driver we go.

putting for any length of time is physically difficult for me. the bending over hurts my lower back, and crouching to get a read is super hard on my knees
It makes me wonder if there’s some aspect of green reading where Tiger and Jack having color blindness is an advantage. I know there’s some research showing people with certain types of color blindness can easily distinguish shade differences that are invisible to people with normal color vision.

lost a little love for bob does sports - I made a perfectly honest, not-toxic comment on one of his last Bryson vs Cutsy/FP vids (sans bob) that I felt the videos were completely off-brand and little more than a “wow look how good bryson is” display, which I wasn’t there to see (his last video had him hitting 300+ left handed).
it was deleted, which made me raise an eyebrow and didn’t bother me, til I saw other anti-bryson comments deleted as well, even ones that were pretty benign. I wonder how much bryson paid them for the positive PR, and I wonder if that has anything to do with bob being absent from all those videos.
I’m not sure there’s anyone more unlikable than that guy. I can’t wait til his back shatters into a million pieces at 32. I would never wish that on anyone, I thought, but here I am.
