She’s responding to people. She’s smarter than you are. You should start your analysis out with the idea that she’s probably right.
That tweet is not replying to anyone as far as I can tell. She’s worried about inflation and babbling about a federal jobs guarantee when we’re facing massive deflationary pressures. Sounds about right for someone who abandoned Bernie because he wasn’t mean enough to Joe Rogan.
ahahaha you fuckers are so sensitive. I love it.
So you feel like commenting on something you don’t understand the context or intent of? Fuck off troll.
Whatever the government does in response to this crisis it probably needs to happen in like the next week or two. She could work with the Republican senators (!) on some kind of temporary UBI, which would obviously greatly help ordinary people but might not be ideologically perfect. Or she can warn against this approach and push a federal jobs guarantee of all things, something that has zero chance of helping anyone who will certainly need assistance in coming weeks and months.
Halt on all bills? If you mean a moratorium on evictions, disconnections, interruptions of service, sure.
Yes people are going to be hurt so when Republicans are promoting surprisingly good policies to help then work with them rather than nitpick and throw up roadblocks. Swift action is needed.
One or two Republicans said something about UBI. Let’s not assume AOC is the roadblock to the GOP giving money to non-rich people.
