the problem with talking about barstool at all is that barstool’s followers are exactly like trumpers. they think they win every time someone mentions them. i would be willing to bet their merch sales went through the roof yesterday and today because of AOC mentioning them. they all idolize the dude that founded it.
i also saw this quote on twitter and couldnt think of anything more true:
“Barstool sports captured the most right wing demographic in america, guys who suck at sports but totally think they “could hang” if they ate clean for a few months”.
