i think more and more lately that she’s full of shit. go look at her voting record. she has voted w the party line almost 100% of the time. compare it to bernie.
her office is telling this guy theyre not focused on healthcare because they aren’t. that much is obvious to anyone paying attention. she wants to bring it to DM’s because she never even has to have the conversation at all that way, and can keep on keepin’ on. barely anyone on the progressive left will hold her accountable because she’s AOC and can do no wrong.
this whole thing is corrupt through and through. burn it down.
I don’t expect it to pass because I don’t think they have the votes to overcome a filibuster. I think the vote should be treated as a purely symbolic one that doesn’t change anything and should be scheduled closer to the election.
If there are Republicans considering it, then they need time to go home during the recess and meet with their constituents to figure out how much this hurts them.
