No more latinx I see
That’s like one of those Charlie Kirk tweets
He’s been doing that for a while. I’d say poor man’s Dennis Miller, where the comedy part is barely covering for being a conservative whiner.
Actually, Adam himself jokes about how Jimmy (Kimmel) is the one that left him in the dust.
FWIW The Man Show with Adam and Jimmy was actually very funny and had good ratings for a Comedy Central show at that time. Adam says that what happened was him and Jimmy’s career were taking off and they had other opportunities, and Comedy Central just wasn’t willing to pay them what they thought they were worth. So that was that. And according to him the fact the show didn’t work anymore when him and Jimmy left speaks for itself as far as what made the show work.
Anyways, since that time he has had a moderately successful long running podcast, he does a ton of stand up, sells a bunch of merchandise, and he has done a bunch of books and documentaries. He isn’t Jimmy Kimmel or Joe Rogan successful but has done very well for himself. His main hobby is collecting vintage racing cars and he has something like $10M worth of them.
We all should be so lucky to be “left in the dust” like that. Although in fairness he started from absolutely nowhere (broken home growing up on welfare) and worked extremely hard to get where he is at and got there due to work ethic and talent (regardless of what you think about his politics).
One funny Adam story from a long time ago. He was once filling in for Petros and Money (a local Los Angeles sports radio show) and Rick Barry was on promoting something or another. And Adam deadpan asked him some question about how he handled all the BO during his playing days, and Rick got super pissed, and I am pretty sure Adam was never invited back on Petros and Money again.
