The squad, Bowman and Bush (are they members of the squad now?) were the no votes.
Bowman and bush are generally considered “squad”.
Im actually pleasantly surprised that the squad stayed true to their stated positions and didn’t cave. Yes, they are irrelevant at the moment, but I feel they have earned their progressive badges. Now only if we can somehow select 10-15 more members to the squad. A block of that size could actually provide enough leverage.
is the Congressional Progressive Caucus too big? 95ish members two congresses in a row.
No, your definition of Progressive is too narrow.
It’s okay to have a more narrow definition of “Progressive” so long as you accept that there are non-progressive Democrats who are clearly not Republicans.
We shouldn’t be trying to make Progressive and Democrat synonymous, whether by purging Democrats of non-progressives or watering down the definition of “progressive” to include way too many people to be useful.
