I still don’t understand why she would vote present instead of no, ?!?
a bunch of people called her office after reading stephens’ awful column. it’s a dirty trick that israel wants extra money for iron dome, essentially to put in a bunch of upgrades, but aipac are calling her out like she wants them defenseless. it’s an issue that’s over polarized, and virtually noone understands the current status of iron dome or details of the bill they are debating.
Gotta fund apartheid if you want to run for higher office, must be nice to have an army of rubes that will just glaze over your walls of text and then blindly follow

i never consciously noticed it until that language video in the other thread, but some people are probably predisposed to dismiss her arguments because of the vocal fry.
