is this Good? seems bad. as a frequent NYC traveler, LGA really, really needs better transit into Manhattan. Traffic around LGA is shit, and is considerably worse since they started renovating, and trying to take the bus is a nightmare (hard to even get to the bus right now from some terminals because of the construction).
I frequently will fly into JFK or EWR since I can take a train into the city but LGA has more direct flights from my home airport.
AOC’s issues with the LGA Airtrain were the soaring cost, the indirect route, and the decision to use the Citi Field #7 stop as the connection to the MTA.
anyone know what were the environmental concerns? the article just says “sketchy”.
