When Bayern plays that high press, they are terrifying. Overwhelmed FCB to the point of embarrassment, and never let PSG get comfortable tonight. You’d think the counter was to play Mbappe in behind the high back line, but they had a really tough time even getting the ball up the pitch. Probably the best European side I can remember seeing since Pep’s Barca at their apex.

Neuer had a terrible year tbh. He made many mistakes with the ball at his feet and was sporting a like .650 save % midway through the season.
Yea I had heard he slipped this year (don’t watch a ton of Bundesliga). Was class tonight.
Bayern were like 5th halfway through the season, they were legitimately playing like Everton until they fired their coach so I can’t call them a great team for that.
Obviously they were near perfect in Europe and any team that puts 8 past Spurs and Barca is great in my books.
