These writers criticizing Elon musk make me laugh. They don’t understand he has Asperger’s. They don’t understand why he was putting his kid on his head. (This was apparently the story she was reading on her phone that triggered this rant, poor Elon is being attacked for having his child on his shoulders in the Oval Office? idk) I know people like this. I used to teach them. They don’t understand that he doesn’t care about anyone. He hyper focuses on things. That’s how he runs his businesses and solves problems and became the richest man in the world. He doesn’t care about other people. This week he had his kid on his head. After this week he might never see that kid again. That’s just how he operates.

if you’re not doing actual reading and thinking it’s very hard to put a negative spin on “richest man in the world works 100 hours a week to find corruption in government agencies”.
It seems like either one of two things are happening - elon is exactly as stupid and capricious as everyone expected, and he thinks because of the fact he ripped twitter apart technically and gutted it that he can do the same to the govt systems - however, twitter was at the time he bought it, an engineering marvel that was built to pretty much be nigh indestructible. It appears he does not realize the federal government works in spite of itself and may not be so hardy. You cant even get federal earthquake data right now because the sites all fucked up, tons of sites are acting like that right now.
or, this is an intentional act of treason. I think it’s a lot of the former and maybe a shade of the latter
