Hypocrisy is something Republicans embrace.
I don’t like their position anymore than you do, but the problem in this very specific instance is not hypocrisy. They would tell you they are perfectly fine with gender affirming care if it affirms what was assigned at birth.
One could also easily argue that hair transplant for a man is not really gender affirming.
Anyway, above notwithstanding, fuck Elon and transphobes.

This tweet strikes me as a bit desperate/pleading, but that’s kinda Elmo’s default mode.

I’m genuinely curious if Elon’s support for Trump (excluding the monetary stuff) helps or harms Trump.
lol comparing registering with selective service to acute medical treatment. big smart much for real.
Tech bros are at the top of the “smartest man in the room syndrome” pyramid. If Aaron Rodgers wasn’t a football player, he’d 100% be a tech bro.
I’m surprised to find out Aaron scored 1310 on the SAT.

There was a window in my formative years where you didn’t have to register for the draft. It was only 4 years, but it hit me at an age where I’ve generally thought of that as the normal thing and the resumption of registering for the draft was bad.
One might not expect this, but Carter (re-)started the registration requirement at the end of his term. Reagan had promised in the campaign to discontinue this, but then as POTUS he did not.
That’s ok because he did so many other great things as President.
You do have to have a baseline level of competency to become a pro football player.
My dad told me that unironically this week. He’s one of those conservatives that hates Trump and admires Reagan
